Curse you Travian!

Being the start of the new year I decided to *finally* update here... Been playing Travian online a LOT for most of the last year and things are working to a head on two of the servers... (each server lasts ~300 days before epicly HUGE battles end them)

For those interested, yes, I'm still working on the sequel to Rise of Phoenix. I'm up to chapter-10 which is about 1/2 way through. It's just taking a lot longer because of that damn game....

:bump: Sequel to 'Rise Of Phoenix'. In BRCM things are perfect for Raven-Starfire/Phoenix and Res'al... Too perfect. They need a change and Earth has something very weird going on... Now up to 9 full chapters, with more to come! Chapter 10 should be out in a few months. I hope. :evillaugh: YIKES! With it already over 102 pages this is definitely another novella... :work:

Glad I checked in here!
Doing fine and still bouncing around the world - I'm off to South Korea in about 2 weeks to install a new laser system over there.

I haven't been spending much time in dA because a browser game called Travian has sucked me in for the past 2 years... So much so that I'm almost embarrassed to say that my stories have been neglected for far too long. The ideas keep rattling around in me head but I just haven't set aside the time to actually put them into cyber-ink. I finished one game server last month and one of the other 2 I'm still playing on will wrap up in about another 2 months. The 3rd has about 8 months to go but as I am NOT going to play Travian again for quite a while (WAY too addictive and one helluva time sink) I'm slowly getting the time to start writing again.

As for my stories - don't let the girl/girl thing put you off. While their relationship is key to the stories, there is very little directly dealing with that, maybe less than 4 pages total out of over 200 so far (both stories together) and nothing graphic.

I read yer journal, glad to see that translating is working out for you. Lord knows industry and and other venues need good translators. Some of the inanities I come across in manuals makes me cringe...

South Korea?! That's fantastic! I'm glad your work is fairing so well for you! I've been to Travian, but couldn't get into it too, too much. Well then, I will check out your stories, since you told me that. I look forward to them, and I suggest you start writing more!

Which Travian? The .com one were ya wander around the world or the war game (eg. [link]). The .com one I found rather banal but the war games... They start out slow but within a few months ya need to be online constantly just to survive. If you can't do that then don't play the war game because you will not last very long.

While not a fan of BB - much less paired with Raven, I'll checkout you story in FF.
